Broad Peak and Gasherbrum II

It finally all came together. Not only did I climb Broad Peak without oxygen but under two weeks later, I summitted my second 8000er without O2: Gasherbrum II. Both were hard as hell, but the descent from Gasherbrum II required all of my focus and determination. I still dream of climbing the world’s highest peaks, but now that I’ve climbed a couple, I think I’ll focus on broadening my outdoor pursuits and designing my own creative adventures.
