Everest

In 2018, I returned for my fifth expedition to Nepal. While I was eager to give myself the opportunity of a summit day on the world’s highest peak without O2, I just didn’t have it physically or mentally on this trip. Once I started overheating high on the Lhotse face and it became too hard to continue, I decided to descend instead of pressing on with supplemental oxygen. It was a bad trip, but at least no one got hurt and we all came home friends.
